Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 and Warzone Season 2 Arrives January 28th
Treyarch has officially announced the launch date for Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 and Warzone Season 2: Tuesday, January 28th. This marks the end of Season 1, a remarkably long 75-day run, making it one of the longest seasons in Call of Duty history.
While specifics on Season 2's content remain under wraps, anticipation is high. The first season delivered a substantial update, including new multiplayer maps, modes, weapons, and events, alongside a major overhaul for Warzone, integrating the new movement system and weaponry from Black Ops 6, and introducing Area-99, a fresh Resurgence map. The return of classic maps like Nuketown and Hacienda also proved popular. Treyarch has hinted at more classic map remasters in Season 2, though they've emphasized their commitment to original content as well.
Black Ops 6's initial success, boasting record player numbers in its first month, has been followed by a recent player dip. This decline is attributed to ongoing issues with cheating in Ranked Play and persistent server problems.
