In Aliahan, Patty's Party Planning Place initially seems the go-to spot. However, bypass Patty and ascend to the second floor. There, you can create a custom party, selecting classes Patty doesn't offer. Even if you choose Patty's suggestions, using the second floor allows stat allocation and personality influence, creating superior party members. Crucially, always include a Priest for essential healing magic.

Four Mini Medals are readily available in the opening hours (two in Aliahan, two in Dreamer's Tower). These weapons' multi-enemy attack capability makes them invaluable for the Hero and a strength-based character like a Warrior or Martial Artist.

While modern RPGs often grant full party control, Dragon Quest III: HD-2D Remake initially relies on AI. Access the Tactics menu during combat and change your party's behavior to "Follow Orders." This seemingly small change provides vital control in intense battles.
