为应对玩家数量下降的问题，并吸引新玩家，Arrowhead近日宣布将于2024年8月8日推出“自由的火焰”战争债券更新。此更新将加入新武器、护甲和任务，包括备受期待的空爆火箭发射器以及两款新披风和卡片：净化日蚀（向第一次星际战争中乔佩萨四世的解放致敬）和裂隙（对第361独立自由火焰的最终任务的纪念）。这些新增内容旨在维持游戏的吸引力，并吸引新玩家，以重振玩家群体。
