根据 PC GAMER 12 月 18 日的测试，Nvidia 应用影响了部分电脑和游戏性能。一些玩家报告了使用该应用程式时的卡顿问题。 由于越来越多的担忧，Nvidia 的一位员工建议暂时关闭“游戏滤镜和照片模式”叠加层作为临时解决方案。
首先，他们使用 Ryzen 7 7800X3D 和 RTX 4070 Super（高端游戏配置）测试了《黑神话：悟空》。PC Gamer 在 1080p 分辨率下以“非常高”设置玩游戏，关闭叠加层后，平均帧率略微从 59 fps 提高到 63 fps。他们在 1440p 分辨率下也进行了测试，但没有观察到显著差异。但是，当他们打开叠加层并将图形设置为“中等”时，“帧率下降了 12%”。
他们还在 Core Ultra 9 285K 和 RTX 4080 Super 上测试了《赛博朋克 2077》的性能，发现无论叠加层是否开启，帧率都保持稳定。根据他们的发现，Nvidia 应用的问题似乎影响了某些游戏和电脑配置。

2024 年 2 月 22 日，Nvidia 应用作为 GeForce Experience 的替代品以测试版发布。这两个软件都面向拥有 Nvidia GPU 的 PC 用户，他们可以使用它来优化 GPU 设置、录制游戏等等。
经过一段时间的测试后，它于 2024 年 11 月正式发布，取代了 GeForce Experience。正式发布与图形驱动程序更新同时进行，为即将推出的游戏做准备。使用这个新应用程式，用户不再需要使用全新的叠加层系统登录他们的帐户。
