玩家需要在一周前开始累积睡眠点数
睡眠不足会在一个名为“睡眠格斗家”的新街头霸王锦标赛中对玩家造成惩罚。本周早些时候宣布的这项官方卡普空支持的赛事由制药公司SS制药公司主办，旨在推广其助眠药物Drewell。
“睡眠格斗家”锦标赛是一个团队赛，每个团队由三名玩家组成，他们将在“三局两胜”的比赛中竞争，以积累最多的积分并确保获胜。积分最多的队伍将晋级下一轮。除了通过胜利获得积分外，队伍还将根据其记录的睡眠时间获得“睡眠积分”。
在“睡眠格斗家”锦标赛举行前的一周，每位队员每晚必须至少睡六个小时。如果一个团队的睡眠时间未达到126小时，他们将因每少睡一小时而损失五分。作为额外的奖励，睡眠总时间最长的团队将决定锦标赛的比赛条件。
SS制药公司正在推广这项活动，以证明睡眠的重要性，因为该公司表示，充足的睡眠对于以最佳状态发挥至关重要。他们的活动“让我们接受挑战，让我们先睡个好觉”旨在提高认识，并鼓励日本养成健康的睡眠习惯。根据官方网站，睡眠格斗家是第一个将惩罚玩家睡眠不足作为规则的电子竞技锦标赛。
“睡眠格斗家”锦标赛将于8月31日在东京两国KFC大厅举行。会场出席人数限制在100人，由抽签决定。对于日本以外的人来说，比赛将在YouTube和Twitch上直播。关于直播的更多细节将在稍后时间在官方比赛网站和Twitter (X) 帐户上分享。
