Der ehemalige CEO von Activision Blizzard, Bobby Kotick, hat kürzlich einen vernichtenden Angriff auf sein früheres EA -Gegenstück John Riccitiello gestartet und ihn während eines Podcast -Auftritts auf Grit als "den schlechtesten CEO in Videospielen" bezeichnet. Zu Kotick war der ehemalige EA -Chief Creative Officer Bing Gordon, der darauf hinwies, dass Riccitiellos Führung zu seiner eigenen Abreise beigetragen hat.
Kotick wurde im Vergleich zu Activisions zu dieser Zeit die überlegene Geschäftsstabilität von EA anerkennen und drückte ein überraschendes Gefühl aus: "Wir hätten Riccitiello dafür bezahlt, für immer ein CEO zu bleiben. Wir dachten, er sei der schlechteste CEO in Videospielen." Er stellte klar, dass dies kein persönlicher Angriff gegen Gordon war, der feststellte, dass ihr Hauptanliegen die Möglichkeit war, dass Gordon Riccitiello nachfolgt.
Kotick, dessen Führung bei Activision Blizzard im Jahr 2023 von Microsoft in Höhe von 68,7 Milliarden US -Dollar gipfelte, enthüllte die mehrfachen Versuche von EA, Activision Blizzard zu erwerben. Er gab zu, dass das Geschäftsmodell von EA einmal robuster und stabiler aussah als das von Activision.

Während Activision Blizzard eine Klage bei der kalifornischen Bürgerrechtsabteilung für 54 Millionen US -Dollar beigelegt hat, behauptet das Unternehmen, dass unabhängige Überprüfungen keine Hinweise auf systemische sexuelle Belästigung oder unsachgemäße Vorstandsmaßnahmen ergeben haben.
In dem Interview teilte Kotick auch seine kritische Meinung über die 2016 Warcraft -Paption von Universal und nannte es "einen der schlimmsten Filme, die ich je gesehen habe".
