Monster Hunter Wilds Patch 1.000.05.00 Addresses Quest Issues
Capcom has released hotfix 1.000.05.00 for *Monster Hunter Wilds* across all platforms, addressing several key improvements and bug fixes. While this patch tackles various progression roadblocks and glitches, it doesn't include any performance enhancements, as detailed below.
Despite a record-breaking launch, *Monster Hunter Wilds* currently holds a "mixed" user review rating on Steam, with many PC players citing performance issues as their primary concern. However, the game's success is undeniable: It achieved 8 million sales in just three days, making it Capcom's fastest-selling game ever. Furthermore, it boasts the fifth highest concurrent player count in Steam history, peaking at a staggering 1,384,608—surpassing even *Dota 2*, *Cyberpunk 2077*, and *Elden Ring* on Valve's platform. This is a significant leap compared to *Monster Hunter: World*'s peak of 334,684 players.
A major title update is anticipated for early April, promising a new endgame area and additional monster hunting challenges.
