Unlocking and Befriending Lobo in Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp

This guide details how to unlock and invite Lobo, a wolf villager, to your campsite in Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp.

Unlocking Lobo

Lobo becomes available as a potential contact anywhere between levels 20 and 39 of your Camp Manager level. You unlock two new animals per level, but the specific animal is random. Therefore, you might unlock Lobo as early as level 20 or as late as level 39. Once unlocked, he'll appear randomly on your map every three hours.

If Lobo isn't appearing, use a Calling Card:

1. Access your Contacts (icon above your planner). Navigate to the wolf tab and locate Lobo.
2. Select Lobo and choose "Call." This summons him for three hours.

Leveling up your Camp Manager is achieved by interacting with other animals, fulfilling their requests, and gifting them snacks. Each animal level-up grants you Camp Manager experience. Gulliver's Ship offers villager maps; completing these at Blathers's Treasure Trek unlocks additional villagers (including those not obtained through leveling) and provides friendship points/experience.

Inviting Lobo to Your Campsite

To invite Lobo, he must reach friendship level 5. You'll also need to craft these items:

Increase Lobo's friendship level by completing his requests (use Request Tickets if needed – 3 per villager daily). Alternatively, gift him treats; Bronze, Silver, or Gold Treats are universally liked, or offer historically-themed treats like Pound Cakes.

Completing Lobo's Special Request

At friendship level 10, Lobo presents a special request: crafting a Vintage Telephone.

This 18-hour craft (9980 Bells) requires:

• x2 Sparkle Stones
• x4 Historical Essence
• x75 Wood
• x75 Steel

Completing special requests awards +10 friendship points, 1000 Bells, a Request Ticket, and a Calling Card. The Vintage Telephone is used in several Happy Homeroom classes (Meditative Room, Meditative Room 2, Edo Zen Home 2).
