キャンセルされたプロジェクトはマルチプレイヤーFPSであり、昨年からの求人で証明されました。これは、以前に現在キャンセルされたスターウォーズFPSプロジェクトに取り組んでいるチームによって開発されました。レイオフの正確な数は未確認のままですが、情報源はその数を「小さい」と説明しています。プロジェクトに接続された少なくとも1人の個人がLinkedInで、彼らの出発が自発的であることを明らかにしました。
このキャンセルは、2023年にBiowareおよびCodemastersでの求人を伴うEAでのプロジェクトのキャンセルとレイオフのパターンに従います。 670人の従業員に影響を与える大規模なレイオフと、前述のスターウォーズFPSを含む複数のプロジェクトがほぼ1年前に発生し、約20人のリスポーン従業員に影響を与えました。 BioWareでのさらなる再編には、内部開発者の再割り当てと追加の不特定のレイオフが含まれていました。
