Disney Speedstorm welcomes another iconic animated character: Maui! This demi-god, inspired by Polynesian mythology and a breakout star from the hit movie Moana, joins the racing roster. While Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson won't be voicing him, Maui's arrival is still highly anticipated.

Disney Speedstorm already boasts a diverse cast, from Monsters, Inc. to Pirates of the Caribbean, making it a dream game for Disney fans. However, with the recent release of Moana 2, the addition of Maui in Season 11, Part One, is perfectly timed.

Maui's presence needs little explanation. His signature move, "Hero to All," lets him launch opponents with his magical fishing hook. A fully charged version transforms him into a hawk for a powerful counter-attack.

Disney Speedstorm benefits both fans and Disney's marketing efforts. With Moana 2's apparent success, additional promotion might be less necessary.
