Sony has announced an exciting lineup for the PlayStation Plus Game Catalog additions for May 2025, featuring a diverse range of titles that cater to various gaming preferences. The announcement was made via a PlayStation.Blog post, showcasing six games set to enhance the PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium subscription tiers, available starting May 20.

Subscribers at the Extra tier will enjoy access to nine new titles. Leading the pack is Sand Land, an action RPG based on the acclaimed manga by Akira Toriyama, available on both PS4 and PS5. Other notable additions include Five Nights at Freddy’s: Help Wanted – Full Time Edition and the S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Legends of the Zone Trilogy. The latter's enhanced version, announced earlier today, will also launch on May 20 for PS5, PC, and Xbox Series X|S. GSC Game World has confirmed that owners of the original trilogy on consoles will receive the Enhanced Edition at no additional cost, though it remains uncertain if this applies to PlayStation Plus members.

For PlayStation Plus Premium members, Battle Engine Aquila joins the catalog as a classic title. This sci-fi action game, playable on PS4 and PS5, lets players command a versatile war vehicle capable of engaging enemies both in the air and on the ground.
