Dying Light 2's newest addition, Tower Raid, is a dynamic roguelite mode offering unpredictable gameplay and intense survival challenges. Following extensive testing, this highly anticipated mode is now live, providing a completely new perspective on the game's infected world.

Players will control one of four unique warrior archetypes: Tank, Brawler, Ranger, or Specialist, each with distinct abilities encouraging diverse strategies and collaborative play. For a heightened challenge, players can reduce their team size or even tackle the tower solo.

The mode boasts three difficulty levels – Quick, Normal, and Elite – affecting run intensity and length. Procedurally generated levels ensure each playthrough is unique, with varying floor layouts and enemy encounters demanding adaptability.

A novel progression system ensures that failure leads to growth. Each failed attempt unlocks new abilities and weapons, improving chances of success in subsequent runs. A mysterious merchant, Sola, awaits within the tower, offering rare rewards like the Office Day Outfit, Kuai Dagger, and Silenced Pistol to worthy players.

While preparing for the release of Dying Light: The Beast, Techland remains dedicated to enhancing Dying Light 2 throughout 2025. Future updates will include improved co-op, refined matchmaking, enhanced community map integration, additional Tower Raid characters, new melee and ranged weapons, a new weapon class, prologue enhancements, and significant graphical and technical improvements.
