If you're a Pokémon GO player, you're in for a treat with the upcoming events, including the exciting Catch Mastery event. Alongside other ongoing events like the Festival of Colors and the Might and Mastery event, the Catch Mastery event adds even more fun to the mix.

Catch Mastery Brings the First Birdie for Pokémon GO!

The Catch Mastery event is set to take place on March 16th, running from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. local time. This event is all about Archen, the First Bird Pokémon. During the event, you'll see increased spawns of Omanyte and Kabuto, and you might even encounter their Shiny versions.

Archen will be available as a Field Research reward, with an increased chance of encountering its Shiny form. The event also offers some fantastic XP bonuses, doubling your XP for Nice Throws or better, and for Curveball Throws.

Additionally, there’s Timed Research associated with the event, centered around catching Rock-type Pokémon. If you're up for the challenge, you can complete up to 10 sets of tasks, which will reward you with a total of 40 Archen encounters.

The Mega Absol Raid Day Is Also Happening Soon

The second event, Mega Absol Raid Day, is scheduled for March 23rd from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. local time. Absol is getting a new Charged Attack called Brutal Swing. Once the event kicks off, Absol will permanently have access to this move, which delivers 55 power in Trainer Battles and 65 power in gyms and raids.

From March 22nd at 5:00 p.m. PDT to March 23rd at 8:00 p.m. PDT, the Remote Raid Pass limit will be temporarily increased to 20. You’ll also have the opportunity to obtain up to five additional free Raid Passes from spinning Gym Photo Discs, bringing your total to six for the day.
