May 2025 in Pokémon GO is shaping up to be an exciting month packed with thrilling events and raid opportunities. One of the highlights is undoubtedly the return of the Lake Trio to 5-Star Raids in various regions, promising an exciting challenge for players around the globe.

What Does Pokémon GO Have in Store for May 2025?

Kicking off the month, Tapu Fini will be available in Five-Star Raids from May 1st to May 12th, bringing the powerful move Nature's Madness along with a chance to encounter its Shiny form.

From May 12th, the much-anticipated Lake Trio will make their return. Depending on your location, you'll have the chance to battle Uxie in the Asia-Pacific region, Mesprit in Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and India, or Azelf in the Americas and Greenland.

Following the Lake Trio's departure, Tapu Bulu will take the stage in raids from May 25th to June 3rd, 2025, also featuring Nature's Madness and its Shiny variant.

For those interested in Mega Raids, May offers a robust selection. Mega Houndoom will be available from May 1st to 12th, succeeded by Mega Gyarados from May 12th to 25th, and finally, Mega Altaria from May 25th to June 3rd.

The month's event calendar starts with "Growing Up" from May 2nd to 7th, highlighted by a Mega Kangaskhan Raid Day on May 3rd. "Crown Clash" will run from May 10th to 18th, overlapping with the Dynamax Suicune Max Battle Weekend on May 10th and 11th.

Community Day on May 11th will feature a surprise Pokémon, adding an element of mystery and excitement. "Crown Clash: Taken Over" is scheduled from May 14th to 18th, followed by a Shadow Raid Day on May 17th.

"Final Strike: GO Battle Week" will engage players from May 21st to 27th, with the May Community Day Classic set for May 24th. Wrapping up the month, a Gigantamax Machamp Max Battle Day will take place on May 25th, 2025.
