The Pokémon Go Bug Out event is buzzing back from March 26th to 30th, bringing with it a flurry of Bug-type Pokémon and the exciting debut of Sizzlipede and its evolution, Centiskorch! This event is overflowing with wild encounters, raids, bonuses, and fresh challenges.

Lure Modules are key during the Bug Out event. Not only will they attract Sizzlipede, but using enough at a PokéStop will significantly increase the number of Pokémon appearing. Trainers will also enjoy 2x XP and extra Candy for Nice Throws or better, with boosted Candy XL chances for those level 31 and above. Shiny hunters, rejoice! Your chances of encountering Shiny Wurmple and Shiny Venipede are increased.

Expect a swarm of Bug-type Pokémon in the wild, including Caterpie, Weedle, Wurmple, Nincada, Venipede, Dwebble, Joltik, Grubbin, Dewpider, Nymble, and even the rare Cutiefly.

Sizzlipede will be featured in one-star raids alongside Scyther and Nincada, while Beedrill, Scizor, and Kleavor dominate three-star raids. Complete event-themed Field Research tasks for Mega Energy, Scatterbug Candy, and encounters with event Pokémon.

A free Timed Research offers encounters with Shedinja, Sizzlipede, Kleavor, and more, plus a Lure Module. For even more rewards, a paid Timed Research ($2 or local equivalent) provides encounters with Heracross, Sizzlipede, and Kleavor, along with two Premium Battle Passes and an extra Lure Module.

New Collection Challenges will reward Stardust, XP, and Pokémon encounters, and PokéStop Showcases will feature event Pokémon. Don't forget to grab the stylish new Sizzlipede Boots and Scolipede Jacket from the in-game shop!
