Pokémon Go Announces January 2025 Community Day Featuring Sprigatito!

Get ready, Pokémon Go Trainers! The first Community Day of 2025 is set for January 5th, and it's starring the adorable Grass-type Pokémon, Sprigatito! From 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm local time, Sprigatito will appear much more frequently in the wild, bringing with it a host of exciting event bonuses.

This is your prime opportunity to add Sprigaito to your collection. Evolving Sprigatito into Floragato, and then into Meowscarada, during the event (or within the five-hour post-event window) will teach Meowscarada the powerful Charged Attack, Frenzy Plant. It will also permanently learn Flower Trick, boosting its battle capabilities.
