Niantic has kicked off the exciting Wayfarer Challenge in Pokémon Go, inviting trainers in Chile and India to actively contribute to their local gaming environment while reaping exclusive rewards. This event offers players a unique opportunity to influence their surroundings by reviewing and approving Wayspot nominations on the Niantic Wayfarer platform, potentially transforming real-world landmarks, sculptures, street art, and more into PokéStops and Gyms.

The Wayfarer Challenge is scheduled from March 7th to 9th in Chile and from March 10th to 12th in India. By participating, you not only help enrich the Pokémon Go map but also work towards achieving special milestone rewards. If the community collectively resolves 5,000 nominations, every participant will be rewarded with 20 Ultra Balls, a Star Piece, an Incense, and a Poffin. Push the goal further to 10,000 approvals, and the rewards escalate to 25 Ultra Balls, two Star Pieces, two Incense, two Poffins, and a Lucky Egg.

To join in on the action, you must be at least level 37 in Pokémon Go and have a Niantic Wayfarer account. Newcomers to the platform will need to complete the Wayfarer Orientation before they can start reviewing nominations. Additionally, ensure you've recently played in Chile or India or set your Wayfarer Hometown or Bonus Location to one of these countries. To be eligible for rewards, you must review at least 50 nominations, and at least one of the milestone goals must be achieved.

Alongside the Wayfarer Challenge, the PokéStop Challenge will run from March 9th to 12th, exclusively in Chile and India. This event enhances your gaming experience by offering 3x XP for first-time PokéStop visits, 3x Stardust from opening Gifts, and increased chances of encountering Kecleon. Engage in Event Field Research for encounters with Eevee, and complete Timed Research for opportunities to catch other Pokémon.
