My Journey Together Product Openings

Journey Together Standard Booster Box

Opening a Booster Box is an exhilarating experience, with 36 packs offering a plethora of possibilities. My standout pulls included N's Reshiram Illustration Rare, Iono's Bellibolt ex Secret Rare, and a Hyper Rare Spiky Energy. Even beyond these highlights, I snagged numerous solid ex cards that are perfect for deck-building.

IGN Photo Composite / The Pokémon Company + Creatures Inc.Despite not pulling my most desired cards, Hop's Zacian ex and Lillie's Clefairy ex Special Art Rare, the Booster Box provided a comprehensive and thrilling journey through the set. For those who enjoy opening packs and want to significantly expand their collection, a Booster Box is an excellent choice. Check out the rare pulls listed further down; this box was definitely worth it for me.

Journey Together Elite Trainer Box

Elite Trainer Boxes offer a more premium feel compared to loose packs. The N's Zorua promo immediately caught my eye, and the box's design is ideal for card storage. The included sleeves, dice, and condition markers are perfect for players, and with nine booster packs, there's ample opportunity for exciting pulls.

IGN Photo Composite / The Pokémon Company + Creatures Inc.With only nine packs, I didn't expect miracles, but I was pleasantly surprised with Iono's Kilowattrel Illustration Rare, Articuno Illustration Rare, and a Veluza ex. These pulls made the opening experience thoroughly rewarding. While an ETB doesn't match the hit rate of a Booster Box, its all-in-one package is a fantastic way to dive into Journey Together. Journey Together Build & Battle Box

Build & Battle Boxes provide a unique thrill compared to other products, with the highlight being the prebuilt 40-card deck for immediate play. I drew Hop's Snorlax as my promo, which is an excellent card, boosting all of Hop's Pokémon attacks by 30 extra damage.

Although you won't get as many rare pulls as with a Booster Box, Build & Battle Boxes are the fastest way to start playing with the new set. From 49 booster packs across all our products, I pulled 18 rare cards, some expected and others surprising. Trainers will find plenty of rare cards to chase in Journey Together. Here's what I pulled:

Hop’s Snorlax (Promo 184)

IGN Photo Composite / The Pokémon Company + Creatures Inc.A sturdy Basic Pokémon with 150 HP, boosting all of Hop's Pokémon attacks by 30 extra damage. Its Dynamic Press packs a punch, though the 80 recoil damage is a drawback. The ability alone makes it a valuable addition to any Hop-themed deck.

N’s Zorua (Promo 189)

Spiky Energy Hyper Rare (190/159)

Iono’s Bellibolt ex-Secret Rare (172/159)
