Then there's Cassiopeia (094/064), arguably one of the best Trainer cards in recent years regarding both collectibility and playability. If you want to get ahead of the curve, these blisters are easily accessible.

I also predict Persian (078/064) will become a sleeper hit for collectors; it's a stunning Gen I artwork card, and those tend to age well in the Pokémon TCG market.

History shows that Charizard-heavy sets are worth buying before prices skyrocket.

However, Ninetales (Illustration Rare, 190/197) is my personal favorite card in this set. The artwork is breathtaking – possibly the best Ninetales card ever printed. Collectors should grab these blisters for the Charizard alone, but Obsidian Flames offers much more than just fire-breathing lizards.

But I believe these blisters are worth buying now because of Shiny Pikachu (131/091), already fetching nearly £50. Demand will only increase, and there's no guarantee of another Shiny Pikachu anytime soon.

Furthermore, Shiny Gardevoir ex (233/091) is the most visually appealing card in the set and highly playable. Gen I fans will appreciate Charmander (109/091) and Charmeleon (110/091), key components of a strong Charizard deck in the Standard format. I wouldn't be surprised if the entire evolution line becomes expensive in the future.
