For a very limited time, both Walmart and Amazon are selling the 83" LG Evo G3 Gallery Series 4K OLED Smart TV for under $2,700, complete with free delivery. To put this into perspective, the 2024 model, the 83" LG G4, is priced at a staggering $5,300. The Gallery Series TVs represent the pinnacle of LG's OLED offerings and are widely regarded as among the best OLED TVs available.

The G3, launched in 2023, is a generation behind the latest model (as no "G5" TV has been released yet), but it remains superior to any other TV in LG's lineup, including other OLED models, with the exception of the 2024 G4. The LG G-series OLED outperforms the C-series. Both feature an "Evo" panel, which is brighter than traditional W-OLED TVs, but the G-series enhances this with MLA (micro lens array) technology, boosting brightness even further. This feature adds to the cost but elevates the image quality to match or exceed that of Samsung's quantum dot OLED TVs.

OLED TVs are generally considered the best you can buy today. They offer superior image quality, deeper blacks, better contrast ratios, a wider color gamut, and faster response times compared to traditional LED LCD TVs. These advantages make OLED TVs ideal for experiencing 4K HDR content at its best. LG's OLED TVs, in particular, have benefited from years of refinements.
