Freedom Wars Remastered permite a los jugadores equipar dos armas de su elección para cada operación, seleccionando desde seis tipos de armas distintos. Esta flexibilidad permite diversas construcciones de personajes y playstyles. Tipos de armas en Freedom Wars remasterizado

Se adquieren nuevas armas a través de operaciones o Zakka en el Warren. Aquí hay un desglose de los seis tipos de armas:

Weapon Type	Traits
Light Melee	Quick attacks ideal for swift combat against single targets. Can sever Abductor limbs without a Flare Knife.
Heavy Melee	Wide-ranging attacks delivering substantial damage. Well-placed attacks multiply damage against multiple Abductor limbs. Charged attacks launch the user into the air. Slightly reduces movement speed.
Polearm	Attacks involve charging through enemies, providing mobility and evasion. Charged attacks launch the polearm for high damage from a distance.
Assault Weapons	High ammo capacity, perfect for gun-focused builds. Can be fired while grappled with your Thorne for advantageous positioning.
Portable Artillery	High single-shot damage with low ammo capacity. Explosive area-of-effect shots can hit multiple limbs for increased damage. Reduces movement speed.
Autocannons	High rate of fire, large ammo capacity and magazine size. Individual shots have lower damage, compensated by rapid fire. Reduces movement speed.
