Gameplay Overview:
The objective of Hearts is to accumulate the lowest score by the end of the game. Players must follow suit (e.g., play a Club if a Club is led). If a player lacks a card of the leading suit, they may play any other card, with the exception of Hearts or the Queen of Spades on the first trick. The highest card of the led suit wins the trick and leads the next round. Each Heart taken in a trick is worth 1 point, and the Queen of Spades is worth 13 points. A player who "shoots the moon" (takes all Hearts and the Queen of Spades) scores 0 points, while all other players receive 26 points. The game concludes when a player reaches a score of 100 or more.
