MAME4droid 2024 emulates arcade games and systems supported by latest MAME 0.270

Developed by David Valdeita (Seleuco), this app is a port of the MAME 0.270 emulator created by MAMEDev and contributors. It supports arcade titles and various home computer systems, including ZX Spectrum, Amstrad CPC, MSX, and more. This version accommodates over 40,000 different ROMs.

This release of MAME4droid is optimized for high-end Android devices, as it relies on the latest PC version of MAME, which demands higher system specifications than previous iterations.

Even on powerful hardware, do not expect "modern" arcade games from the 1990s and later to always run at full speed or offer complete compatibility.

With support for over 40,000 titles, performance varies; some games will run better than others, while a few may not work at all. Given this vast library, we cannot guarantee support for every specific game, so please avoid emailing us with individual requests.

After installation, place your MAME-formatted zipped ROMs in the /storage/emulated/0/Android/data/com.seleuco.mame4d2024/files/roms folder (consult the help section to explore other ROM reading options).

IMPORTANT NOTE: This version of MAME4droid exclusively uses the '0.269' romset, not those from older versions.
