Step into Proton Bus Urbano!

This is the classic edition dedicated to urban buses for transporting passengers within cities. Originally launched in 2017, it has been nearly five years! Our simulator has received numerous features and improvements over this time.

The bus modding system is now more sophisticated, supporting detailed animations for buttons, rain effects, wipers, windows, and more. The community has already created hundreds of bus mods, with many more on the way!

We will soon release many new buses as mods, several of which are currently in development this year. Including every bus directly in the game would make it excessively large, and no one uses every vehicle. The mod system lets you keep only your favorites, saving storage space. All older, non-animated buses have been excluded from this edition and will be re-released as mods in the coming months.

In 2020, we introduced a map modding system, a rare feature for mobile games. While creating maps requires a computer, finished maps can run on most mobile devices with sufficient RAM.

The original routes remain available, but with a strong emphasis on custom map creation, they will soon become a thing of the past.

This simulator is FREE, with optional extras for PAID USERS. You can enjoy the free version indefinitely; our goal isn't just to make money. Pay only if you genuinely LOVE this project and wish to support its development. Paid users enjoy an ad-free experience and gain access to exclusive features like virtual mirrors, cruise control (automatic speed holding), 360-degree screenshot capture, and more. Almost all other features—and nearly all buses—are completely free.

This is more a simulator than a traditional game. We don't focus on points, checkpoints, or similar elements. Simply choose your preferred bus and drive. As a complex simulator, it offers many controls and settings. Please watch an online video or tutorial if you're new, as many common issues are easily resolved. For instance, remember to press 'N' before shifting gears and to release the parking brake. Some settings can cause unexpected behavior, so read their descriptions carefully before enabling them. Performance may also vary between devices.

This project is available for PC and Android. PCs generally offer superior graphics due to their more powerful hardware. Numerous settings can be adjusted to enhance performance. A modern mid-to-high-end device with ample RAM (preferably 4GB or more) is recommended. If performance is poor on your device, try older versions or adjust the settings. There's a known issue with 64-bit Unity apps on Android; if you experience low framerates, you can download the 32-bit APK from our website, which may run faster.

Our focus going forward will be on core updates, especially modding support. This simulator truly shines with mods—it's hard to imagine it without them.

You can download mods by searching for "Proton Bus mods" or using the in-game button. Installation requires a file manager app. Don't worry—the community is ready to help if needed.

Most advanced features are currently tested on a Samsung Galaxy S9, with basic functions tested on a J7 Prime. It is not recommended for older phones with less than 2GB of RAM, though you can try installing it manually via APK/OBB without guarantees. * New mod installer! Installing mods is now much easier: after downloading a mod file, simply share or open it and select the game! This works for most buses and maps (supports phase 3 maps in this version only).
