Nintendo Switch to Receive Trio of Frictional Games in 2025

Abylight Studios and Frictional Games have partnered to bring three acclaimed horror titles to the Nintendo Switch in 2025: SOMA, Amnesia: Rebirth, and Amnesia: The Bunker. This collaboration will introduce these terrifying experiences to a new audience of Switch players. Abylight Studios will handle the porting process for these games.

Frictional Games, renowned for its contributions to the horror genre, has established a strong legacy with the Amnesia series and other notable titles. The announcement has been met with enthusiasm from fans eager for more mature horror games on the Nintendo Switch. The partnership ensures that the unique scares and compelling narratives of these three titles will soon be accessible on the platform.

The agreement between Abylight and Frictional Games covers both digital and physical releases of SOMA, Amnesia: Rebirth, and Amnesia: The Bunker for the Nintendo Switch. These games offer diverse horror experiences: SOMA explores sci-fi themes and existential questions; Amnesia: Rebirth revisits the classic Amnesia gameplay; and Amnesia: The Bunker delivers a unique survival horror experience set in the trenches of World War I.
