Adding Friends in Marvel Rivals
Before we dive in, it's important to note that *Marvel Rivals* currently does not support cross-progression or cross-play. This means you can't add friends from other platforms at the moment. However, the developers have confirmed that these features are on their roadmap, so keep an eye out for future updates.
To add friends, start by launching the game. You'll find the add friends icon conveniently located in the top corner next to your player profile. Click on it, and you'll be presented with a list of players you've recently played with. Simply click on their names to send a friend request.
If you're looking to add someone specific, use the search bar to enter their username. After hitting the Enter key, you can send them a friend request. Once they accept, they'll appear in your friends list, ready to join you in battle.
How to Play With Friends
With your friends list now filled with fellow heroes, you're all set to team up and take on the competition in *Marvel Rivals*.
To start playing with friends, click on the friends list icon in the top right corner of your screen. Find the friend you want to team up with, select their username, and send them an invite to join your game. From there, you can queue up for either quick play or competitive matches and dive into the action together.
For console players, adding friends is even smoother. If you've added someone to your friends list at the system level, they should automatically appear in your *Marvel Rivals* friends list, making it super easy to invite and play together.
And that's all you need to know about adding friends and playing together in *Marvel Rivals*. For more tips and in-depth information on the game, be sure to check out The Escapist.
