Xbox Game Pass January 2025 Lineup: New Arrivals and Departures

Microsoft has unveiled its first Xbox Game Pass lineup of 2025, confirming several anticipated titles and announcing some departures. The month of January promises an exciting mix of new releases and returning favorites for subscribers.

New Games Joining Xbox Game Pass (January 2025):

Microsoft's official announcement on January 7th, 2025, highlighted seven new additions. Road 96, a choice-driven adventure, is already available across all Game Pass tiers (including PC). Other titles arrive later in the month:

• Road 96: Available January 7th (All Tiers)
• Lightyear Frontier (Preview): Available January 8th (Standard & Ultimate)
• My Time at Sandrock: Available January 8th (Standard & Ultimate)
• Robin Hood – Sherwood Builders: Available January 8th (Standard & Ultimate)
• Rolling Hills: Available January 8th (Standard & Ultimate)
• UFC 5: Available January 14th (Ultimate Only)
• Diablo: Available January 14th (Ultimate & PC Game Pass)

The inclusion of Diablo and UFC 5 confirms earlier leaks, though access is tiered. Diablo is exclusive to Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass subscribers, while UFC 5 is a Game Pass Ultimate exclusive. The remaining titles are accessible with a standard subscription. Lightyear Frontier, a sci-fi title, remains in early access.

Additionally, new Game Pass Ultimate Perks are available as of January 7th, including weapon charms for Apex Legends and DLC for First Descendant, Vigor, and Metaball.

Games Leaving Xbox Game Pass (January 15th, 2025):

The announcement also confirmed the departure of six titles on January 15th:

• Figment
• Insurgency Sandstorm
• Those Who Remain
