AFK Journey Tier List

S-Tier Characters: Top Performers

Lily May, the first must-pull character since Vala, significantly boosts Wilder teams with high damage and utility. She excels in PvP, PvE, and Dream Realm.

Thoran remains the best F2P tank, especially before acquiring Phraesto. Reinier is a top-priority support for both PvE and PvP, crucial for Dream Realm and Arena.

Koko and Smokey & Meerky are essential supports for various game modes. Odie shines in Dream Realm and all PvE. Eironn, with Damien and Arden, forms a dominant Arena team.

Tasi (added November 2024) is a versatile Wilder crowd control character, excelling in most modes except potentially Dream Realm (though this may change).

Harak (Hypogean/Celestial) is a powerful Warrior whose strength increases with each kill, making him nearly unstoppable when fully developed.

A-Tier Characters: Strong Contenders

Lyca and Vala effectively utilize Haste, a crucial stat boosting attack frequency and speed. Lyca provides party-wide Haste, while Vala increases her own with each marked enemy kill. Lyca's PvP performance may be limited.

Antandra is a solid alternative tank to Thoran, offering taunts, shields, and crowd control.

Viperian complements a Graveborn core with energy drain and AoE attacks, excelling outside Dream Realm.

Alsa (added May 2024) is a strong DPS mage, a viable alternative to Carolina in PvP, especially with Eironn.

Phraesto (added June 2024) is a durable tank but lacks damage output.

Ludovic (added August 2024) is a powerful Graveborn healer, synergizing well with Talene and excelling in PvP.

Cecia, while a good Marksman, has been downgraded due to the changing Dream Realm meta and the arrival of Lily May.

Sonja (added December 2024) significantly upgrades the Lightborne faction with respectable damage and utility across all game modes.

B-Tier Characters: Solid but Replaceable

These characters are suitable for filling roles but are easily replaced by A or S-tier heroes. Valen and Brutus are strong early-game DPS options. Granny Dahnie provides decent tanking, debuffs, and healing. Arden and Damien are PvP meta mainstays but less effective in other modes.

Florabelle (added April 2024) is a decent secondary DPS supporting Cecia, but requires significant investment.

Soren (added May 2024) is decent in PvP but not optimal for Dream Realm or other PvE content.

Korin's Dream Realm effectiveness has decreased, making Odie a preferable choice.

C-Tier Characters: Early-Game Options

These characters are outclassed quickly after AFK level 100. While Parisa offers powerful AoE and some PvP utility, she should be replaced as soon as possible. Focus on summoning better characters.
