Apex Legends ALGS Year 4 Championships Heads to Sapporo, Japan!

Get ready Apex Legends fans! The ALGS Year 4 Championships are coming to Sapporo, Japan, marking a significant milestone for the competitive scene. This will be the first-ever ALGS offline tournament held in Asia.

The event will take place at the Daiwa House PREMIST DOME from January 29th to February 2nd, 2025, featuring 40 of the world's best Apex Legends teams vying for the championship title.

This exciting announcement follows a strong showing of support from the Japanese Apex Legends community, with EA noting significant requests for an Asian-based offline event. John Nelson, EA's senior director of Esports, expressed enthusiasm about bringing the tournament to Sapporo and the iconic Daiwa House Premist Dome.

Sapporo Mayor Katsuhiro Akimoto also welcomed the event, promising the city's full support. Further details on ticketing and tournament specifics will be revealed at a later date.

Before the main event, the Last Chance Qualifier (LCQ) will provide a final shot at qualification for aspiring champions. The LCQ runs from September 13th to 15th, 2024, and fans can watch the qualifying rounds live on the official @PlayApex Twitch channel. Don't miss out!
