How to Complete All Arata Stages in GHOUL://RE

After extensive trial-and-error, we've cracked the code to unlock all three Arata stages in *GHOUL://RE*. While these stages don't require high gaming skills or extensive exploration, they do demand a significant amount of Reputation grinding. And by significant, we mean you'll be grinding a lot!

Arata Stage 1 in GHOUL://RE

To kick things off, you need to amass **25,000 Reputation** points and reach the maximum rank of **Special Investigator** within the C.C.G. organization. Head over to the **Commission of Counter Ghoul** (C.C.G. center) and locate **Damiro D. Mado**, the NPC with headphones on the second floor. He'll task you with collecting **10 one-eyed fragments** and **10 Kokuja fragments**.

The quickest way to gather these fragments is by defeating bosses like **Eto and Tatara**, then crafting them at a workbench. To check your Reputation, speak with **Saiyo Natsuki**, the NPC in a black suit and tie. Once you have all 20 fragments, combine them into **five one-eyed Kokuja fragments** at the workbench. Return to **Damiro**, and he'll direct you to speak with “him”. This instruction puzzled the *GHOUL://RE* community until it was discovered that “he” is none other than **Black Reaper of Doom And Despair**, hiding in plain sight. Arata Stage 2 in GHOUL://RE

For **Arata stages 2 and 3**, you must switch to **permadeath (PD) mode** to unlock the legendary armor. It's advisable to team up with reliable allies, as solo missions can be frustrating.

Once you've gathered **100,000 Reputation points**, head to the elevator in the C.C.G. building and go to **the Laboratory**. Find **Black Reaper of Doom And Despair**, the man with the scalpel dressed in a black suit next to the door.

Hand over the five one-eyed Kokuja fragments and ensure you have 100,000 Reputation to complete Stage two and obtain **Arata-Proto armor**. Despite online rumors suggesting lower requirements, our experience confirms that **100,000 Reputation points** are necessary for guaranteed success.

Remember, you must play **Arata stages 2 and 3 in PD mode** only. Attempting these stages outside PD mode will result in repeated responses from the Black Reaper, preventing you from progressing.

Arata Stage 3 in GHOUL://RE

The final Arata Stage involves another encounter with **Black Reaper of Doom And Despair**, additional fragments, and a substantial amount of currency. Continue playing in **PD mode** to pursue the epic armor.

When you've obtained a single one-eyed Kakuja fragment and saved **500,000 Yen**, revisit **Black Reaper of Doom And Despair** at the C.C.G. building. Upon payment, he'll teleport you to face **Kishou Arima boss**.

Defeating Kishou Arima requires at least average gaming skills, including jumping, dodging, blocking, and dealing significant damage. With practice, even players of moderate skill can triumph over him. Be prepared for potential deaths; each retry will cost an additional one-eyed Kakuja fragment and 500,000 Yen.

Upon defeating Kishou Arima, you'll unlock Stage 3 Arata-Proto armor. However, be cautious: while Arata armor provides impressive buffs and protection, it rapidly drains your hunger, and you can't eat while wearing it.

**Arata-Proto Armor Buffs**

Arata armor is a powerhouse, but it comes with a significant drawback: it drains your hunger at an alarming rate. You'll need to remove the armor to replenish your hunger levels. Despite this, the armor's benefits are substantial. You can't be ragdolled while wearing it, providing a huge advantage in all game scenarios.

Additionally, Arata armor enhances your character's resilience, making you "tanky" and capable of withstanding and dealing massive damage. However, if the armor depletes your hunger during combat, it will start consuming your health. Be vigilant during boss fights and remove the armor if it becomes too risky, allowing you to heal.

**Reputation Grinding**

The most efficient way to earn the required Reputation is by battling bosses in **PD mode**. Though risky, each boss defeated in PD mode awards **1,500 Reputation** points, significantly more than the **500** earned outside PD. Killing Ghouls yields only **100 Reputation** points per kill, making them less ideal for grinding during Arata quests.
