ARK: Survival Ascended's Extended Content Roadmap Unveiled

Studio Wildcard has released an updated roadmap for ARK: Survival Ascended, detailing content updates stretching into late 2026. This Unreal Engine 5 remaster of ARK: Survival Evolved, initially released in November 2023, will receive a steady stream of new content and features.

Key highlights from the roadmap include:

Unreal Engine 5.5 Upgrade (March 2025): This significant update will bring substantial performance improvements and reinstate Nvidia's frame generation technology. It also paves the way for individual DLC map downloads, reducing the overall game size.
New Maps and Creatures: The roadmap outlines a series of map additions, both free and paid:
- Free Ragnarok Ascended, Bison (Free Creature), and Fantastic Tame (April 2025)
- Paid Premium Map (June 2025) Details to be revealed later.
- Free Valguero Ascended, Community-Voted Creature, and Fantastic Tame (August 2025)
- Free Genesis Ascended Part 1 & Bob's True Tales Part 1 (April 2026)
- Free Genesis Ascended Part 2 & Bob's True Tales Part 2 (August 2026)
- Free Fjordur Ascended and Community-Voted Creature (December 2026)
Fantastic Tames: Three additional Fantastic Tames are planned for release throughout 2026.

The roadmap provides a high-level overview, suggesting the possibility of additional unannounced content throughout the next two years. The focus remains on delivering both significant technical improvements and a continuous flow of new creatures, maps, and gameplay experiences for ARK: Survival Ascended players.
