Studio Wildcard has released an updated roadmap for ARK: Survival Ascended, detailing content updates stretching into late 2026. This Unreal Engine 5 remaster of ARK: Survival Evolved, initially released in November 2023, will receive a steady stream of new content and features.

Key highlights from the roadmap include:

• Unreal Engine 5.5 Upgrade (March 2025): This significant update will bring substantial performance improvements and reinstate Nvidia's frame generation technology. It also paves the way for individual DLC map downloads, reducing the overall game size.

• New Maps and Creatures: The roadmap outlines a series of map additions, both free and paid:

  • Free Ragnarok Ascended, Bison (Free Creature), and Fantastic Tame (April 2025)
  • Paid Premium Map (June 2025) Details to be revealed later.
  • Free Valguero Ascended, Community-Voted Creature, and Fantastic Tame (August 2025)
  • Free Genesis Ascended Part 1 & Bob's True Tales Part 1 (April 2026)
  • Free Genesis Ascended Part 2 & Bob's True Tales Part 2 (August 2026)
  • Free Fjordur Ascended and Community-Voted Creature (December 2026)

• Fantastic Tames: Three additional Fantastic Tames are planned for release throughout 2026.
