How to Get & Use Armor Spheres in Monster Hunter Wilds
Upgrading your armor is crucial for survival in Monster Hunter Wilds, but simply crafting new sets isn't always the most efficient strategy. Smart players know the value of upgrading existing armor to keep pace with escalating challenges. Here's your guide to obtaining and utilizing Armor Spheres in Monster Hunter Wilds.
Obtaining Armor Spheres in Monster Hunter Wilds
Armor Spheres are primarily awarded as quest rewards. This means completing both main and optional quests will steadily replenish your supply.
You'll begin receiving Armor Spheres as quest rewards after defeating Uth Duna for the first time in the main storyline. From that point forward, the majority of main and optional quests (particularly those from Uth Duna onward) will include Armor Spheres among their rewards.
To preview potential rewards, access your quest journal, select a quest, and press R1. Your earned rewards will be displayed on the results screen after a successful hunt.
Farming Armor Spheres is relatively straightforward. While progressing through the main story naturally yields a decent amount, diligently completing optional quests significantly boosts your collection.
How to Use Armor Spheres
Armor Spheres are essential for upgrading your armor. At base camp, speak with Gemma the smithy and select the "Forge/Upgrade Armor" option. Choose a crafted piece of gear and press R1 to access the Upgrade tab.
Select the armor piece you wish to upgrade. You'll need to provide Armor Spheres and Zenny to complete the upgrade. Be aware that the cost increases with each subsequent upgrade level.
That's all there is to acquiring and using Armor Spheres in Monster Hunter Wilds. For more game tips and insights, be sure to check out The Escapist.
