In typical dad fashion, Hollywood icon Arnold Schwarzenegger admitted being just as surprised as anyone to see his son Patrick's revealing scenes in Season 3 of The White Lotus.

"I'm watching your show, and suddenly there's your bare backside," the 77-year-old action star confessed during his recent Actors on Actors interview with his son, captured in Variety's tweet below. "Then I spotted... well, everything. My first thought was 'What am I seeing here?' It caught me completely off guard!"

"Then it hit me," Schwarzenegger continued with trademark humor, "'Wait a minute Arnold - you did the exact same thing in Conan and Terminator! You've got no room to complain.' But I never expected him to follow in my footsteps quite this literally."

While Patrick's White Lotus role marks his breakout moment, he's been building his resume for years. His previous notable appearances include HBO's The Staircase miniseries (2022) and FX's American Sports Story (2024).

Film-wise, Patrick delivered his strongest performance (in my opinion) as the titular imaginary friend in 2019's psychological horror Daniel Isn't Real, acting opposite Miles Robbins. Over his career, he's consistently demonstrated his own acting chops - proving he's more than just Arnold Schwarzenegger's son.

The elder Schwarzenegger began his acting journey with 1970's Hercules in New York before cementing his legacy as The Terminator. While his last film appearance was in 2019, he's remained active starring in Netflix's action-comedy FUBAR since 2023. Fans can look forward to seeing him in two upcoming projects: Kung Fury 2 and The Man With the Bag.
