Assassin's Creed Shadows' Release Date Shifts to March 20, 2025

Ubisoft has announced another delay for the highly anticipated Assassin's Creed Shadows, pushing the release date back to March 20, 2025. Initially slated for a February 14, 2025 launch, this marks a five-week postponement from the previously announced date.

The publisher cites the need to integrate player feedback as the primary reason for this latest delay. This contrasts with the initial three-month delay announced in September 2024, which stemmed from concerns regarding historical and cultural accuracy within the game's development.

In a statement, Marc-Alexis Coté, Vice President and Executive Producer of the Assassin's Creed franchise, emphasized Ubisoft's commitment to delivering a high-quality and immersive experience, facilitated by ongoing player interaction. He reiterated that the additional time will allow for further refinement and polishing of the game.

The September delay prompted Ubisoft to offer refunds for pre-orders and provide free access to the first expansion for future pre-orders. Incorporating fan feedback into Assassin's Creed Shadows aligns with this initiative.
