"Assassin's Creed Shadows Art Book Leaked on Unexpected Hentai Site"
Exciting news has emerged for fans eagerly awaiting the release of Assassin's Creed Shadows. An artbook leak titled "The Art of Assassin's Creed Shadows" has surfaced online, initially appearing on a site known for hosting hentai content before spreading across the internet. This leak was first highlighted on r/GamingLeaksAndRumours, a popular subreddit for gaming enthusiasts. The artbook, now removed from the original site but archived elsewhere, spans several hundred pages filled with concept art, quotations, and detailed development information about the upcoming game.
While the source of the leak raises eyebrows, the content itself is highly anticipated. The artbook offers glimpses into the game's setting, showcasing concepts of historical figures, bustling cities, and an array of weapons. There are also potential spoilers for the plot, although we won't know their accuracy until Assassin's Creed Shadows officially launches on March 20, 2025. This leak comes just after a delay pushed the game's release from 2024 into early 2025.
In a recent preview event, IGN had the chance to speak with Charles Benoit, the game director for Assassin's Creed Shadows. Benoit explained that the delay was primarily to enhance the game's polish, particularly focusing on the parkour system. "The Japanese architecture, the roofs [are] super complex," he noted. "Probably the most complex thing that I ever worked with if we compared to Odyssey and Syndicate. We needed specific codes and specific animations to support something super fluid, changing the transition of the parkour to make it even more fluid."
Benoit further elaborated that while some adjustments were made to progression and balancing to enhance engagement, the main focus was on refining the parkour mechanics to better suit the unique challenges posed by Feudal Japan's intricate architecture. These enhancements are expected to provide players with a seamless and immersive experience when Assassin's Creed Shadows finally hits the shelves.
