Locating the Storm King

The Storm King's appearance is tied to quest progression within the Storm Chasers update. First, locate and speak with Kayden to receive quests. He'll reveal the Storm Chaser base camp location. Next, navigate to a storm (indicated by purple vortices on the map) to advance the questline.

The final quests involve defeating Raven and powering the Tempest Gateway. After helping the Storm Chasers, Raven's hideout will be revealed. This fight requires dodging dynamite and melee attacks while using a crossbow. Powering the Gateway requires at least 10 Eye of the Storm items, obtainable from Raven, base camp upgrades, and Storm Dungeons.

Defeating the Storm King

With the Tempest Gateway activated, the Storm King awaits. This boss fight resembles a raid boss encounter. Target the glowing yellow weak points on his body. He becomes more aggressive after each destroyed weak point. Exploit his stuns to inflict maximum damage with powerful melee weapons.

The Storm King employs various attacks: a laser from his glowing mouth (dodge left or right), meteors, rock projectiles (anticipate trajectories), and a ground pound (back away). Direct hits can be devastating.

Once all weak points are destroyed, the Storm King is vulnerable. Maintain your offensive, be aware of his attacks, and claim victory!
