After months of swirling rumors and leaks, it appears Bethesda is poised to officially unveil the remaster of The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion tomorrow. The announcement is set for 11:00 am EST and will be broadcast on both YouTube and Twitch.

In a recent post on X (formerly known as Twitter), the official Bethesda account shared an image featuring a prominent "IV" and a background reminiscent of iconic Oblivion artwork, strongly hinting at what's to come. While the post didn't explicitly detail the announcement, the visual cues leave little doubt about the subject.

The anticipation for an Oblivion remake has been building for years, fueled by various leaks. Initially, a 2020 Bethesda release schedule, which surfaced during the FTC vs. Microsoft trial in 2023, suggested an Oblivion remaster was planned for fiscal year 2022. Although that window has passed, more recent leaks in January of this year indicated that Bethesda, with assistance from Virtuos, was working on a comprehensive remake. The speculation reached a fever pitch last week when leaks from Virtuos' website showcased images of the remake in progress.
