Larian has released an update to the Patch 8 Stress Test build, addressing numerous bugs, crashes, and scripting errors. This update ensures that Gale correctly consumes magical items as intended. Please note, only participants in the Patch 8 stress test can access this update on their designated consoles. Non-testers will need to wait for the full release of the patch to enjoy the enhancements and new content.

Key improvements in this update include the preservation of container contents within inventories when destroyed, simplified screenshotting in Photo Mode for Steam Deck users, more responsive poses, enhanced cross-play functionality, and updated values for the Booming Blade tooltip. Photo Mode is accessible almost anytime, whether you're adventuring, in combat, or in multiplayer (controlled by the host). You can pose companions and characters as desired, with or without party members, and even include whimsical elements like a jumping frog. The free-moving camera allows for capturing the perfect shot from any angle.

Enhance your photos with post-processing effects, stickers, and frames. However, during dialogues and cinematic cutscenes, you can only apply post-process effects and cannot adjust poses.
