Botany Manor's PlayStation Debut Finally Set for January 28th

Initially slated for a December 17th, 2024 release, the PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4 versions of the acclaimed puzzle game Botany Manor have been rescheduled for a January 28th, 2025 launch. This delay, announced by publisher Whitethorn Games, aimed to ensure a polished and optimal player experience.

Developed by Balloon Studios and initially released in April 2024 for Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and PC, Botany Manor quickly garnered critical praise, earning a "Strong" rating on OpenCritic with an 83 average score and 92% recommendation rate. The game's charming aesthetic, engaging puzzles, and rewarding exploration contributed to its success.

The PlayStation port's delay, initially announced shortly before the December release date, caused a brief period of uncertainty. However, the new January 28th release date fulfills Whitethorn's promise of a 2025 launch. While a PS Store page is still pending, players can anticipate a price point of $24.99, consistent with other platforms. The game will be a one-time purchase without microtransactions, and the digital soundtrack, available separately on Steam, is not expected on the PlayStation Store.

Botany Manor is poised to enrich the PlayStation's growing collection of puzzle games.
