Monster Hunter Wilds is set to roll out its first Title Update tomorrow, introducing quests that will spark competition among players for the fastest clear times. In preparation for this update, Capcom has taken a firm stance against cheating, issuing a clear warning to the community.

In a recent post on X/Twitter from the official Monster Hunter account, Capcom emphasized their commitment to maintaining a fair gaming environment. They stated, "To ensure a fun and fair experience for our players, we will take action against accounts participating in fraudulent ranking activity, such as the use of cheating or external tools. Accounts deemed to be in breach of this may be suspended, or have restrictions placed on them, such as being unable to receive rewards from these quests."

Capcom's warning extends beyond just the cheaters themselves. They cautioned that players joining multiplayer hunts with cheaters could face consequences as well, including invalidated quest completion times and revoked rewards for the entire party. The company urged players to steer clear of those engaging in prohibited activities and to report any instances of cheating they encounter during quests.

These new quests will offer attractive rewards in the form of cosmetic pendants. Some pendants will be distributed to all participants, while others will be awarded based on Completion Time or the hunter's ranking. Given the stakes involved, Capcom's crackdown on cheating and suspicious behavior is understandable, as it aims to preserve the integrity of the competition and the fairness of reward distribution.

The Time-Based Competition Quests will be accessible through the new Arena Quest Counter in the Grand Hub in Suja, which players can unlock by completing a special tutorial mission.
