Castle Duels: Tower Defense has just released its highly anticipated 3.0 update, now officially available to players worldwide after a soft launch in select regions back in June 2024. This latest update brings an array of new features, challenges, and adventures to the game, enhancing the overall experience for fans of the tower defense genre with a twist of PvP and card-based units.

What’s New In Castle Duels: Tower Defense 3.0?

One of the most significant additions in this update is the introduction of clans. This feature finally allows players to team up with others, unlocking numerous possibilities. You can trade units, send rewards to your entire clan, and even purchase items from the exclusive clan store. For those eager to test their skills against others, training battles offer a great way to practice your PvP prowess. You can join or create a clan once you reach Arena 2.

Another exciting feature is the Clan Tournament, available to players who have reached Arena 5. Here, clans of five members compete to complete daily quests faster than their rivals, with the fastest clan claiming the top prize. This competitive element adds a new layer of excitement and teamwork to the game.

And Some Faces Got Tweaks And Name Changes

Update 3.0 also brings changes to some familiar faces. Raphael is now known as Angel, Knight of Light has been renamed to Risen, and Forestlord is now Woodbeard. Angel's role has been revamped from a damage booster to a support and healer, now focusing on restoring health. Similarly, Riding Hood has transitioned into a long-range damage dealer.

The Golem, once a jack-of-all-trades, now has its ability range reduced to better fit its role as a melee warrior. Meanwhile, the Fighter has shifted to a Defense role, equipped with a new ability that repels opponents and reduces their damage output.

Visually, several units have received updates to enhance their appearance, especially as they progress through the merge ranks. Units such as Pirate, Alchemist, Poison Frog, Combat Engineer, and Vampire now boast fresh new looks, making them more distinctive and appealing.
