Fortnite players eagerly awaited the arrival of Cyberpunk 2077 content, and the crossover finally delivered a stylish item set. However, the absence of the male version of protagonist V sparked fan speculation. Many considered various marketing strategies employed by CD Projekt Red, but the reason is far simpler.

Patrick Mills, the Cyberpunk 2077 lore expert, made the final call. He cites two key reasons: the bundle was designed for only two characters, one of which had to be Johnny Silverhand. This left no space for both male and female versions of V. With Johnny being male, selecting the female V was a logical choice, further influenced by Mills' personal preference for that version.
