Ananta, formerly known as Project Mugen, is poised for a full launch after its initial promotional materials generated significant buzz. This open-world urban RPG, slated for a 2025 release on PC, PlayStation 5, and mobile devices (with Chinese release approval secured), blends elements reminiscent of popular titles like Genshin Impact, Zenless Zone Zero, and even GTA, all presented within a captivating anime aesthetic.

The December 5th trailer showcased Ananta's sun-drenched coastal setting, Nova, where players assume the role of an A.C.D. agent, embarking on a journey filled with mystery and exploration. The ambitious project, a collaborative effort between NetEase Studios, Thunder Fire Studio, and Naked Rain, is attracting global interest due to its unique blend of familiar environments infused with supernatural elements.

Key features highlighted include four-player team-based battles, a distinctive art style, and fluid, high-speed movement.
