New Additions to Civ 7

Hot on the heels of the Deluxe Edition launch, Firaxis Games has unveiled its 2025 post-launch roadmap: the "Crossroads of the World" DLC. Included with Deluxe and Founders' Editions, this DLC delivers two new leaders, four new civilizations, and four new natural wonders in two March 2025 releases.
Ada Lovelace (with Great Britain and Carthage civilizations) and four new natural wonders debut in early March. Simón Bolívar (alongside Nepal and Bulgaria civilizations) arrives later that month.

While specifics are scarce, we'll venture some educated guesses. These are predictions only, and no offense is intended. All predictions are based on historical context.
Ada Lovelace: Leader Ability Predictions

Ada Lovelace, the pioneering computer programmer, will likely be a science-focused leader. Given her aristocratic background, bonuses might center around Codex and Specialist mechanics, currently unused by other leaders. Combined with predicted Great Britain bonuses, she'll likely excel in science victories.
Simón Bolívar: Leader Ability Predictions

Simón Bolívar, "The Liberator," a prominent figure in Civ VI, will probably favor a militaristic/expansionist playstyle in Civ VII. His abilities might leverage the new Commanders mechanic, potentially focusing on logistical advantages to maintain offensive momentum, unlike Trung Trac's approach.
Carthage: Civilization Predictions

Carthage's historical wealth and trading prominence suggest a naval trade and coastal focus. However, to differentiate from Aksum, it might specialize in Trade Route capacity and Culture bonuses from international trade, potentially synergizing with the Colossus wonder.
Great Britain: Civilization Predictions

A Civ series veteran, Great Britain will likely focus on its Industrial Era dominance. Bonuses might involve naval production, trade, and potentially production boosts from Oxford University, reinforcing its scientific and industrial strengths.
Nepal: Civilization Predictions

Nepal's Himalayan location suggests bonuses tied to mountainous terrain. Its military history and cultural heritage might lead to specializations in military and cultural advantages, possibly with unique units benefiting from mountainous terrain.
Bulgaria: Civilization Predictions

Bulgaria, a Civ newcomer, will likely emphasize military and economic strengths, potentially focusing on cavalry and benefiting from its historical ties to the Ottomans. Its Exploration Age placement hints at bonuses reflecting its role during or after Ottoman rule.
Natural Wonders: Predictions
The DLC includes four new Natural Wonders. Given Civ VII's passive Natural Wonder design (providing tile yields only), their specific effects remain to be seen.
