LoL: Wild Rift Patch 6.1: Ascending Stars is set to launch on April 16th, promising a cosmic overhaul that transforms everything from the menus to the battlefield. Players will embark on new adventures through the Dual Nova galaxy, home to the Challenger’s Star and Adventure’s Star, enhancing their gaming experience in this latest update.

Three new champions are set to shake up the meta in Wild Rift’s latest update, each bringing unique abilities to the fray. Ryze, the Rune Mage, introduces powerful AoE damage and the ability to teleport teammates across the map with his Realm Warp. Nocturne, the Eternal Nightmare, thrives on chaos, utilizing Paranoia to plunge enemies into darkness, while Zilean, the Chronokeeper, manipulates time to slow down foes and even revive allies with Chronoshift.

In addition to the new additions, several champions are receiving significant reworks. Garen’s Courage now scales over time, making him an even more formidable tank, while his Judgment ability will now shred enemy armor more effectively. Ambessa is transitioning from the jungle to the Baron lane, with adjustments to her damage output and life steal capabilities. Smaller tweaks are also on the way for Diana, Fiora, Jax, Sona, and Kalista, ensuring a fresh feel to these beloved characters.

Beyond champion changes, a new Bandle-inspired Rift is set to shake up non-Ranked modes, featuring Enchanted Gifts that appear through portals during the laning phase. Mages are in for a treat with updates to items like the new Bandle Fantasy item, which adds extra burst damage, Hextech GLP800 that slows enemies with frost bombs, and Malignance, which enhances ultimate abilities, making spellcasters even more formidable on the battlefield.

Ranked mode is also evolving with the launch of the Challenger’s Star, marking the beginning of a new season. Players can look forward to updates in the Ranked store and an easier way to earn seasonal rewards. Midway through the patch, the Adventure’s Star unlocks, introducing AAAARAM, a thrilling new take on ARAM with added augments and stunning galactic visuals.

The Wild Pass will feature two stunning new skins: Wondertown Twisted Fate and Battlecast Nasus. Twisted Fate’s new look introduces an entirely new skinline, adding even more flair to your champion collection.
