World of Warcraft: The War Within - Patch 11.1 Prologue and Dalaran Epilogue Guide
The narrative of World of Warcraft: The War Within continues beyond the Siren Isle update. Season 2, anticipated later in 2025, promises new endgame content and the next chapter of this expansion. But before then, Patch 11.0.7 introduces crucial story quests setting the stage for Patch 11.1, focusing on the Goblin capital, Undermine. A separate questline concludes the tragic destruction of Dalaran.
Updated January 7, 2025: The recent campaign quests feel like a definitive ending. Dalaran, a Warcraft staple, may never recover from The War Within's events. The Dalaran Epilogue provides closure, a farewell to a significant social hub in Wrath of the Lich King and Legion.

Accessing the Patch 11.1 Prologue: Lingering Shadows
Unlike the Dalaran Epilogue, the "Lingering Shadows" campaign begins immediately. Completion of the leveling or Level 80 campaigns isn't required, though recommended for context. The questline includes:

Unlocking the Dalaran Epilogue in World of Warcraft: The War Within
Initially gated for three weeks, the Dalaran Epilogue is now accessible (as of January 7th). However, you must complete both The War Within's leveling campaign and the Level 80 campaign (requiring Renown Four with all four Khaz Algar factions).
Check Foundation Hall (where Patch 11.1 prologue quests begin). Khadgar's presence (after January 7th) indicates readiness; otherwise, finish remaining campaign quests.
