Dark and Darker Mobile's eagerly anticipated pre-season #3, dubbed 'Grappling with the Abyss,' kicks off today and runs through to June 10th. Much like the massive pre-launch crossover event that Sonic Rumble had with top Sega icons, Dark and Darker Mobile is offering its soft launch players a wealth of new content and features to explore.

One of the major highlights of this season is the introduction of the Arena mode, a competitive PvP addition to the game. In this mode, players will engage in thrilling 3v3, best-of-five deathmatches on randomized maps. To participate, players must reach at least level 10 and have a minimum equipment score of 500. Additionally, you can bring one hired mercenary companion into the fray, adding another layer of strategy to your battles.

Another significant addition is the Shadow Realm, a new PvE mode where players can take on escalating weekly boss battles. To summon these formidable bosses, you'll first need to conquer waves of lesser monsters, making it a challenging endeavor. Access to this mode is granted once you reach account level 15, ensuring that only seasoned players can take on these epic fights.

The pre-season #3 update also brings a host of other exciting features. The new Guild Encampment provides a social space for Guilds, allowing players to interact and socialize. The Soulstone system introduces the ability to equip a monster's soulstone, granting new traits to your character, unlocked at account level 8. Additionally, the Stat Tree system offers persistent progression, complementing the influx of new loot, monsters, gear, and numerous quality-of-life upgrades.
