The Feybreak DLC significantly expanded this, introducing numerous crafting materials crucial for upgrading player characters and Pal bases. One such elusive material is Dark Fragments. Unlike the more common Paldium, Dark Fragments are essential for crafting high-tier accessories, making their acquisition a priority for Feybreak explorers.

How to Obtain Dark Fragments in Palworld

To gather Dark Fragments, hunt Dark-elemental Pals exclusively on Feybreak Island. This method won't work on Dark-elemental Pals found elsewhere. Feybreak's coastal areas primarily feature ground and water-type Pals; venture inland to locate Dark-elemental Pals. Note that some, like Starryon, are nocturnal unless encountered as boss variants.

Capturing or defeating these Pals (using Ultimate or Exotic Spheres is recommended) yields an average of 1-3 Dark Fragments. Drops aren't guaranteed, but diligent hunting should provide a sufficient supply.
