Recently unveiled, The Blood of Dawnwalker is developed by Rebel Wolves, a studio founded by a CD Projekt RED veteran.

Mateusz Tomaszkiewicz, in explaining his departure from CDPR, highlighted several key factors:

A desire for creative exploration with trusted colleagues led to the founding of Rebel Wolves. Their shared passion for RPGs and a belief in pushing the genre's boundaries fueled the creation of innovative gameplay ideas. The difficulty in convincing a large corporation to adopt such novel concepts, especially with new intellectual property, ultimately prompted the decision to establish their own studio. This independent approach allows for risk-taking, something inherently more challenging within the constraints of a larger organization.

Rebel Wolves prioritizes strong interpersonal relationships and open communication within its small team. This fosters a collaborative environment where the shared vision is easily discussed and refined, leading to a more potent creative process. This close-knit structure facilitates a stronger sense of creative energy and allows for the development of truly unique game experiences.
