2025 is set to be a monumental year for DC Comics, with one of the most anticipated projects being the long-awaited sequel to the iconic Batman: Hush saga, titled Batman: Hush 2. This sequel is especially significant as it marks the return of DC's President, Publisher, and Chief Creative Officer, Jim Lee, to the helm of a monthly Batman comic. The storyline, which kicks off in Batman #158 in March, serves as a direct follow-up to the critically acclaimed Hush series that ran from 2002 to 2004.

While DC has explored several Hush-related storylines in the years following the original, Batman: Hush 2 marks the first time the original creative team has reunited for a sequel. The team includes writer Jeph Loeb, artist Jim Lee, inker Scott Williams, colorist Alex Sinclair, and letterer Richard Starkings.

Building on the recent epilogue featured in the Batman: Hush 20th Anniversary Edition, Hush 2 delves into a new mystery. Batman discovers evidence that his childhood friend Tommy Elliot, aka Hush, survived their last confrontation. This revelation sets the stage for Hush to manipulate Batman's allies and enemies, creating a thrilling new narrative arc.

Batman: Hush 2 will unfold across Batman #158-163, with the first issue, #158, hitting stores on March 26. Following this, DC plans to relaunch the series with a new #1 issue and a fresh costume, ushering in a new era for the Dark Knight under the creative direction of writer Matt Fraction and artist Jorge Jimenez.
